It is important for us to strengthen both our and Europe’s common energy independence, so we implement various activities and solutions in energy efficiency, green energy, wastewater treatment, waste management and other areas of environmental sustainability.
We have set environmental targets achievable by 2030 and a commitment to invest at least 3 million EUR yearly in environmental and energy efficiency projects.
Reduce the company's total consumption of energy resources compared to the base year (2021) by 20%.
Reduce the company's total consumption of energy resources per unit of production compared to the base year (2021) by 30%.
Introduce green energy in the electricity supply – in 2024, build a solar panel park on the company's territory with a production capacity of up to 3.2 MW, (green energy up to 40 % of total electricity consumption);
Reduce thermal energy and heat carrier losses in transmission and distribution systems and reduce CO2 emissions, for example, by reconstructing external heat supply (heating water and technological steam) networks.
Reconstruct the ventilation systems in production facilities.
Strengthen the security, independence and continuity of energy supply by providing alternative sources of supply of energy resources, for example, using liquefied petroleum gas as a backup fuel source.
Ensure efficient and responsible waste management.
Invest in modernisation of wastewater treatment facilities. Planned to complete the most modern chemical and pharmaceutical wastewater treatment plant in the Baltics by 2026.
