Lāsma’s high working abilities and passion were noticed quickly, and a year after commencing work, she was offered a raise – the chance to become Laboratory Manager. She describes this experience as very valuable, because it offered her the chance to grow professionally, and to overcome her inner fears of moving forwards. As a result, since 2016 Lāsma has been the Deputy Head of the Quality Control Unit.
Before her job at “Olpha”, Lāsma worked in the construction materials production sector as a technologist, therefore, when she started work for the company, pharmacy was a foreign sector for her. But what Lāsma’s experience shows is that – the main thing is to want and the desire to learn! At the same time, she believes that helpful colleagues are like a stable foundation on which to support oneself during challenging moments, with whom to have fun and celebrate little and big successes together!
